It seems I neglected to mention one of our most honoured members of the studio team. He’s the studio mascot on days when he feels like actually making the trek from home with Andrea. He actually hates the word “studio” and will make his best attempt at a “bark” whenever that word is uttered following a double-phone-ring. The unfortunate part is that he can’t figure out that your mouth has to be open for the sound of said bark to travel beyond one’s own teeth. It’s quite hilarious actually. Especially the fact that he becomes momentarily airborne with each lurch of effort to warn trespassers of his dominant presence. Probably the only time in his life that more than 2 of his feet are off the ground at one time.
He’s Jake. The Pug. (aka The Sack) And all these reasons why we secretly mock him are the very things that make us all love him so much. So I present to you Jake’s studio roster photos. One to show you the loving side of Jake. Oh…he’ll sit on your lap alright, but he will be as still as a cinder block (and somewhat as heavy) while there.
He’s just there to let Kevin know that everything is under control and to let me know that I can’t even sneak a photo of him without his dull gaze of approval. And yes, in case you are wondering…Jake does have back legs. TWO of them in fact!! He’s quite amazing. Just don’t get him wet or feed him after midnight…or ELSE!!
